Creating the conditions for healing and thriving for new mothers in postpartum and beyond.
Serving Santa Cruz County, CA
I help women thrive during the beautiful, challenging and often overlooked transformation that is motherhood.
As a certified health coach, postpartum doula, massage therapist, and mother with a BS in Occupational Therapy, I support new mom’s in putting their well-being at the forefront during the transition of growing a family. I work with women during pregnancy to prepare for the postpartum period, and with women during postpartum to prevent and address conditions that lead to overwhelm and exhaustion.
With my extensive training in various healing modalities, I offer in-home postpartum support, massage therapy and health coaching either separately or combined in a way that will truly support you thriving

Client Testimonials
“The first days, weeks, months as a new mom are so tender and so raw. The energy and vibe in your home is of tremendous import -- which is why Sarah is the absolute best person (and the only person I wanted!) to have in your cocoon. There were so many days where I had no idea what I needed. Enter Sarah. She was phenomenal at reading my energy, looking around my home, and figuring out what, in that very moment, would make me feel supported. Moms need to be "mommed" too, Sarah is like a giant huge of support, kindness, practical advice and help that really creates the space for new moms to find the deep joy in those wild early months. She truly helped our growing family in Santa Cruz create a strong, stable, beautiful foundation in those early months. I cannot imagine how challenging it would have been without her. She's helped me find balance in my new identity, keeping the parts of my pre-mama self that I was missing and most wanted to maintain, and marrying that beautifully to this new role I was stepping into. If you are at all considering postpartum care and support, letting this magical human be your guide will be the best decision you make for your family and you.”

“Sarah has been such a blessing to our family. She was present at the birth of our third child and has been supporting our family as our postpartum doula for several months. She has an amazing ability to step in on day one and know exactly what needs to get done, which has lifted so much of the physical work from my shoulders — in addition to the “mental list keeping” burden — and allowed me to truly rest. I have felt pampered and seen. Sarah has such a wonderful, grounding, nonjudgmental presence. My children (3 and 4) adore her and tell her they love her every time she leaves. Her cooking skills are incredible, as are her massages. Most importantly, having Sarah with us has enabled me to have the space to bond with my newborn as well as play and connect with my other children, which has been absolutely critical during this big transition. Sarah goes above and beyond again and again, and we are so thankful to have her in our lives.”

“Sarah was a wonderful support to me in the weeks following a challenging delivery. In the mornings, she made me breakfast and coffee - feeding me while I nursed the baby in bed. And she would meal prep things I could grab and eat or easily heat up for dinner. She also helped with laundry and light chores, letting me focus on baby and revolving.
In her style, she found the right balance between engaging support and efficiently independent help, which is a great skill and shows how well she listens! Overall, she was a calming, supportive presence in the blurry-eye days of postpartum recovery/sleepless newborn nights, for which I will always be grateful.”
